CRISIS: I have to give an important PowerPoint presentation this coming Saturday in Boston (4/30). I have to depart the West Coast Friday morning with my prepared show. I'm shocked tonight to discover that the new Office for Mac 2016 requires OS 10.10 or whatever it says, when I have 10.6.8. Find your product key for Office for Mac 2011. In the Get Started wizard, click Enter your purchased product key. Tip: If the wizard isn’t open, start an Office application and click Activate Now. So I can only prepare my lecture using the 2011 version. I had to give PPT talks a couple of times in 2012-13 and had the Office 365 for Home subscription thing for a time, just in order to create my shows and be able to have them opened and shown on provided laptops at the venues (I don't own a laptop). I learned the hard way that making my shows with my old PowerPoint X ('.ppt', c. 2004?) was deadly when the newer PC laptops provided at venues opened only sporadic images. It was a nightmare. I learned then that I had to make my shows using the 2011 '.pptx' version to guarantee smooth function. So, I need to re-up with an Office for Mac 2011 subscription in order to make my new presentation. But every way I try, I am directed to an Office Mac 2016 subscription, which of course will not work with my OS 10.6.8 computer. Server settings mac email outlook. To add your email account to Outlook, you’ll need an app password. This is a different password than your regular email account password. The steps to obtain an app password are different for each email provider. Is there no way I can re-up with a 2011 subscription (or start a new one) without having to spend $99 or more to buy the thing? I just need one month's worth. Thank you for some quick advice, if you can! You can subscribe Month to Month and the months you don't subscribe all The application act like readers. No editing allowed. I think the 99 dollars a Year or if you desire the $69 dollar a Year investment is worth it (what's the difference between the Personal version $69 a year allow only one install on one machine only.) If you are not interested in installing on Multiple computers and iPad and iPhone then the Personal version is more than adequate. Although I don't use PowerPoint all that much. I find myself using Excel and Word multiple times a week. So I subscribe to the $99 dollar a version each year. __________ Disclaimer: The questions, discussions, opinions, replies & answers I create, are solely mine and mine alone, and do not reflect upon my position as a Community Moderator.
